Welcome to our story!

We are Rose and Jeff. Our journey began in the mid 1980’s when we were both flight attendants for a major international airline… that’s where the name Del Avion came from. Our love for traveling by plane and because we drive daily on one of the streets in our town called Camino Del Avion.

We met, traveled the world together, fell in love and got married.

When our daughters came along, we decided to retire from flying so we could be at home with our girls. I began working at our church as set designer and in stage production. This is where I developed a love to imagine and create big and beautiful environments. I loved transforming blank spaces into different worlds and awe inspiring destinations. It was there that I was frequently asked to create wedding florals for couples at our church. When the demand for creating wedding florals out grew my church staff position, my new career took off.

Jeff became a firefighter in 2011 and still works for a fire department that serves our local Beach Cities. He brings his fierce ladder skills to all our floral ceiling installations and any mechanical engineering to all our floral project we are asked to create.

We have raised our two beautiful daughters, both are now married and we consider them (and both our son-in-laws) our greatest joy and biggest accomplishment.
