Welcome to Our Story

We’re Rose and Jeff — the heart behind Del Avion by Rose White Florals. Our journey began in the mid-1980s when we were both flight attendants for a major international airline. The name Del Avion was inspired by our love for travel and by one of the streets we drive each day in our hometown — Camino Del Avion.

We met in the skies, traveled the world together, fell in love, and eventually married. When our daughters came along, we chose to retire from flying so we could be home with them. During that time, I began working at our church as a set designer and stage producer — where my love for imagining and creating beautiful, transformative spaces truly blossomed. I discovered the joy of turning blank spaces into breathtaking worlds, and soon began designing wedding florals for couples within our church community. As word spread, my floral work quickly outgrew my church position — and that’s when this next chapter took flight.

Jeff became a firefighter in 2011 and now serves with a local department here in the Beach Cities. He’s my right-hand partner in every large-scale installation, bringing his strength, precision, and mechanical creativity to every floral structure we design.

Together, we’ve raised two incredible daughters — both now married — and we consider them, and our wonderful sons-in-law, our greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.
